A Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for a product is a multi-stage process that evaluates the environmental impacts of operations, including, among other aspects, product carbon footprint calculations.

For example, for a construction product, the life cycle assessment covers all relevant stages, from raw material extraction to building demolition and further use after the end of the building’s life cycle.

The overall project duration depends primarily on the collection of source data provided by the client and the complexity of the product. Typically, the Environmental Product Declaration is ready for publication approximately one month after the initial data collection process begins.
